Guerrilla Gardening in Bologna Italy is a cultural recipe of Western academic education, public mural art, independent political discourse, & the local folklore of potted plant food gardens clustered around doorways, balconies, & terraces.
It was here amongst the university students & medical scholars, in the blackboard jungle of Bologna’s terracotta roofs & porticoes, Doctor Andrea Giordani founded one of the greatest Guerrilla Gardening clubs in Italy, “Terra di Nettuno” aka the “Land of Neptune”.
